Visit These New England Destinations For A Fun Apple Picking Trip

At the Averill Farm orchard in Washington Depot, you can grab apples, pumpkins, cider, jams, jellies, and some yummy apple cider doughnuts from the farm's orchard.
Other scenic apple-picking locations in Connecticut include Bishop's Orchards in Guilford, Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, and Rose Orchards in North Branford.
Washburn's Windy Hill Orchard in Greenville, voted the No. 1 apple orchard by WMUR viewers, has over 700 apple trees. There is also a corn maze, gift shop, and bakery.
Jaswell's Farm in Smithfield is part of "Apple Valley" and was founded in 1899. In addition to apple picking, they have sunflower picking, a market, and a bakery.
At Honey Pot Hill Orchards in Stow, you can pick up apple cider doughnuts, explore a "monster maze," and see farm critters like mini-ponies, rabbits, and goats.
Bolton Spring Farm in Bolton has a pumpkin patch and a bakery featuring mouthwatering hot apple dumplings, hot apple crisp, and cider-spiced doughnuts.
