Sara is a travel writer and editor from Minnesota. After finishing her university career with a semester abroad in Florence, Italy, Sara dedicated her interests to full-time travel. She spent the following year and a half traveling and teaching English before founding her blog, Passion Project Travel, and is now all in on the nomadic lifestyle. Sara is an advocate for slow travel and prefers to stay in a country for several weeks to months to get an authentic sense of the area and culture.
Education
Sara has a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Concordia College, with minors in chemistry and art. She studied studio art, wine, and the Italian language at the Instituto Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence, Italy for a semester.
