Jennifer is a writer, editor, and photographer based in the Pacific Northwest. She is the founder, editor, and lead contributor at Daily Blender, a digital publication launched in 2008 covering travel, food & wine, and arts & culture. Her writing includes travel features within the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, and South America; coverage of special events like the James Beard Foundation Awards, Aspen Food & Wine Classic, NYC/SoBe Wine & Food Festivals, Cayman Cookout, Hawai'i Food & Wine Festival, Bourbon & Beyond, and Maui Film Festival; and exclusive profiles on Anthony Bourdain, Steven Soderbergh, Nichelle Nichols, Roy Choi, and many others. Jennifer has a BA in Communications from Western Michigan University, with international studies at the University of South Australia.
