A New Hampshire Mountain Resort With World-Class Attractions Is Designed To Feel Like Home

When you want to journey into nature but hate leaving creature comforts behind, you need a special kind of resort. In New Hampshire's gorgeous White Mountains, this would be Attitash Mountain Village, where every room is designed to ensure comfort and relaxation. Choose from a range of lodging options for different price points and group sizes, from spacious standards to deluxe studios and one to multi-bedroom apartments with kitchens.

In addition, the ski-in, ski-out slopeside apartments feature rustic fireplaces and are mere steps from the world-class Attitash Mountain Resort, which boasts 67 ski runs across two interconnected mountains. Room prices vary with dates and seasons, but in general, expect standard rooms at this affordable three-star resort to be in the mid-$100s to low-$200s.

Aside from its welcoming ambiance and proximity to ski slopes, another defining feature of Attitash Mountain Village is its list of amenities, to which guests in all forms of accommodation have full access. These include indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, a fitness center, tennis courts, outdoor fire pit, a game room, the popular onsite Maddy B's Mountainside Cafe, miles of trails for snowshoeing and hiking, and even an ice skating rink. While there's something for just about everyone at this multifaceted resort, it has a special appeal for adventurous families with children of all ages.

Year-round activities in Attitash

Attitash Mountain Village offers year-round experiences for guests. Visitors in any season can enjoy many of its amenities, including the pools and hot tubs. Four miles down the road from the resort, the Living Shores Aquarium — the only aquarium in New Hampshire — is open year-round. Visitors will love the aquarium's touch pools along with opportunities to feed stingrays and meet fascinating creatures like the axolotl, whose pink punk-rock hairdo is actually a sophisticated gill system.

Are you a fan of fiery color palettes? Book a trip to Attitash in autumn to admire New Hampshire's blazing fall foliage and attend local Oktoberfest celebrations. In winter, the region becomes a glistening white wonderland. Besides downhill skiing, snowboarding, and ice skating, winter guests can partake in cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and tubing in the snowy wilderness. There are also adventurous snow coach rides up nearby spectacular Mt. Washington, with the option of snowshoeing or Nordic skiing on the way back down.

Then, in the summer, the White Mountains transform into a lush emerald paradise, becoming a great place to beat the heat. In addition to splashing around in Attitash Mountain Village's lovely outdoor pool, visitors can explore endless hiking trails and enjoy adrenaline-filled adventures like the longest alpine slide in North America, the Nor'Easter Mountain Coaster, and the Attitash Zip Tour, the longest single-span zip line in the lower 48.
