American Airlines Is Making Traveling A Whole Lot Easier For Summer 2025

Summer 2025 is going to be an exciting time for travelers. Of course, it's always best to book in advance to secure budget-friendly flights, but during peak summer season, flights can still get filled up (or become too expensive). This is especially true for popular outdoor destinations in Canada and Montana. Luckily, American Airlines will help make your getaways easier by adding routes and removing layovers in 2025.

Beginning in the summer of 2025, American Airlines is adding new flights that will be available on Saturdays. The latest Canadian routes will take you to and from: Chicago (ORD) and Halifax (YHZ), Dallas (DFW) and Québec City (YQB), and New York (LGA) and Calgary (YYC). There are also two new Montana routes, including: New York (LGA) and Bozeman (BZN), and New York (LGA) and Kalispell (FCA). In addition to these, American Airlines is also removing layovers from more flights that travel from New York's LaGuardia Airport to Bozeman, Montana. These new flights will help adventurers travel to these cities and outdoor-driven destinations and hopefully avoid some of the overcrowding that happens during the summer travel season.

Exploring American Airlines' new routes and destinations

With these new routes, American Airlines is hoping to link U.S. travelers to some of the best destinations for a summer vacation, with outdoor adventures and cultural landmarks that are not to be missed. To get you motivated, here's why each city is a perfect summer destination. In Québec City, travelers will uncover a charming European-style city that is known for its French influence, historic architecture, vibrant and lively festivals, and of course, mouth-watering cuisine. When in Québec City, don't miss the culinary delights of poutine, tourtiére, baked beans with maple syrup, and so much more. Calgary is a destination that outdoor enthusiasts will love, where you can explore the Canadian Rockies and hike the beautiful landscapes of Banff and Jasper National Parks, while also keeping an eye out for unique wildlife. In July, you can experience the iconic Calgary Stampede, the rodeo-driven festival with performances and fireworks.

As for Montana's Bozeman, it is a heaven for adventure-loving travelers with its outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and wildlife-spotting at the nearby Yellowstone National Park. When in Montana, be sure to visit Kalispell and see the gorgeous city from mountainous peaks, fish in a nearby river, or hike through Glacier National Park only 45 minutes away. And last but definitely not least is the historic small city of Halifax on the eastern coast of Canada, with popular touristic attractions such as the Maritime Museum, the celebrated waterfront harbor, and the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site. This small town is a great place to explore the Atlantic Ocean and walk through time while taking in the magnificent views.
