Every spring and fall, over 50,000 new rainbow trout are released into the water — including trophy-sized fish weighing up to a whopping 8 pounds. Beyond trout, the lake's 1,600 acres are also stocked with other popular fish, including bass, catfish, crappie, and bluegill. However, it's worth noting that four-legged campers aren't allowed on the main beach or playground. That said, they're welcome to take a dip elsewhere along the shore.
